Student Identification Cards (Student IDs)
All curriculum students are required to obtain a Mitchell Community College Student Photo ID.
Student IDs are issued at the following locations:
Statesville Campus
Eason Student Services Center
Monday–Thursday
Mooresville Campus
Campus Security Office, Brawley Building
Monday–Friday
To minimize wait times, students are encouraged to schedule an appointment in advance. Appointments for Student IDs and parking permits can be made online at:

When obtaining a Student ID, students should bring:
- A government-issued photo ID
- A copy of their current class schedule (printed or electronic)
Your Mitchell Student ID is your official college identification card and should be carried while on campus. Student IDs may be required to access certain campus services, activities, events, testing services, library resources, and other student support programs. The card also serves as verification of your status as a Mitchell Community College student.
In addition to its use on campus, many local businesses in the Statesville and Mooresville communities offer discounts to students who present a valid Mitchell Student ID.
We encourage all students to obtain their Student ID early in the semester and take advantage of the many resources, opportunities, and benefits available to Mitchell students.
