Financial Aid and Scholarships

At Mitchell Community College, we believe finances should not stand in the way of your educational goals. The Financial Aid Office is committed to helping students explore and access resources that make college more affordable.

Financial assistance may be available through federal and state grants, veterans' education benefits and scholarships to help cover college expenses. To apply for financial aid, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at FAFSA.gov. Need help getting started? Attend one of our Tuesday FAFSA Completion Events in the Eason Student Services Building, where Financial Aid staff are available to provide personalized assistance.

Scholarship opportunities are also available. To apply, complete the Mitchell Community College Scholarship Application online through the College website or visit the Financial Aid Office on the Mooresville or Statesville campus.

For more information about financial aid, scholarships, or FAFSA Completion Event hours, contact the Financial Aid Office at financialaid@mitchellcc.edu or call (704) 978-5435 to speak with a Financial Aid Receptionist. Let us help you invest in your future and make your educational goals a reality!
