Military Service Experience

Active Duty service members may receive credit for USAFI courses and service school training where appropriate to the student’s program and where a comparable course is offered by Mitchell Community College. USAFI courses are evaluated based on the catalog of the USAFI.

School Service Training is evaluated based on “A Guide to the Evaluation of Educational Experiences in the Armed Services,” published by the American Council on Education. Final acceptance or rejection of the credit lies with Mitchell Community College. Credit for prior military courses and service is evaluated from the Joint Services Transcript.
