NUR 213 Complex Health Concepts

This course is designed to assimilate the concepts within the three domains of the individual healthcare and nursing. Emphasis is placed on the concepts of fluid/electrolytes metabolism perfusion mobility stress/coping violence health-wellness-illness professional behaviors caring interventions managing care healthcare systems and quality improvement. Upon completion students should be able to demonstrate the knowledge skills and attitudes necessary to provide quality individualized entry level nursing care.

" C" or better earned in BIO 168, BIO 169, BIO 275, ENG 111, ENG 112, PSY 150 and PSY 241 and "B" or better earned in NUR 111, NUR 113, NUR 117, NUR 211 and NUR 215
