PED 175 Horseback Riding I
This course introduces beginning and non-riders to recreational horseback riding. Topics include riding skills equipment handling of horses mounting care of the horse and coordinated horse-rider balance. Upon completion students should be able to demonstrate riding safety and horse management skills. This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA as a premajor and/or elective course requirement. This course has been approved for transfer under the ICAA as a premajor and/or elective course requirement.
