Satisfactory Academic Progress

Students receiving veteran’s benefits through the Department of Veteran Affairs must meet the requirements for Satisfactory Academic Progress defined as a cumulative 2.0 GPA or the student will move to Warning status. While on Warning, the student must return to a cumulative GPA of 2.0 to remain eligible for benefits. Students who fail to return to a cumulative 2.0 will not be certified for future terms. Reinstatement can occur with an academic appeal approved by the School Certifying Official.
