Mitchell Community College Library serves a diverse learning community with two full-size libraries. The J.P. and Mildred Huskins Library, located on the Statesville Campus, and the Mooresville Campus Library, provide resources and services which support and enhance instructional programs at Mitchell Community College. Library resources include books, DVDs, audio books, eBooks, web cameras, microphones, laptops, calculators, and online resources such as databases, journals, and articles. Library services include research assistance, book selection, group and/or individual orientation, library instruction, interlibrary loan, internet access, and printing. Students have access to individual computers, as well as a computer lab, group study rooms, a 3D printer, VR headsets, and a makerspace. Students may schedule an appointment with a librarian for research help or chat with a librarian online directly from the library homepage. Library employees staff an IT help desk on each campus and can reset student passwords and troubleshoot minor student account issues.
