Financial Aid and Scholarships

The goal of the Financial Aid Office is to provide qualifying students assistance with covering tuition, fees, books and supplies. Types of aid include Federal grants, State grants, Veteran's Education Benefits and Scholarships. To apply for financial aid, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.gov. Need assistance? Attend Tuesday FAFSA Completion event located in the Eason Student Services building.

To apply for a Scholarship. complete a Mitchell Scholarship application, located an Mitchell's website or in person in the Financial Aid Office in Mooresville or Statesville. For more information on financial aid and hours for the FAFSA Completion events, contact the financial aid by email financialaid@mitchellcc.edu or call (704) 978-5435 to speak with a Financial Aid Receptionist.
